We are a group of skiers, over 45,  intermediate and up, who are die-hards or wannabe die-hards. Perhaps we have skied with a group of people in the past, and remember how much more fun it was than skiing alone. This is a group for fit hikers. While the trails aren't dangerous, they are usually very steep. Trail shoes of some sort will make your hike easier, though hiking boots aren't typically needed. Ideally our hikes will be 1 1/2 - 3 hours long, including significant elevation gain. Ideally at least 1500'+, and be 5-11 miles long. Coastal hikes, inland hikes, simpler walks in town, cultural and social events -- we've expanded beyond the scope of the group's original name.
