There seems to be a huge need for a social outlet for the over 50 age group. I'd like to start a general "social" club where older (not necessarily wiser) people feel at ease to attend. Maybe a Games Night, eg trivia; scrabble; backgammon; pictionary etc etc. Or an "Ambrose" golf day; Barefoot bowls on a Sunday; beach walks with drinks after; movie nights - aand whatever other members can suggest. I still enjoy going out and having a laugh, but clubs and the casino seem the only choice
