Appetite Stimulus Hike, Chataqua

Prepare for the upcoming Thanksgiving feast with a heart pounding hike. The plan is to climb to the saddle between the 1st and 2nd Flatirons starting at the Chatauqua Ranger Station. The hike is 3-4 miles round trip, with 1400 feet of elevation. It's pretty steep but there is a well maintained trail all the way. We will come back down the same way.

Dogs are welcome. They must be on leash or have the "green" tag if off leash. Children, out of town visitors, etc. are more than welcome. We should be back to the ranger station between 11AM and Noon.

The Chataqua ranger station is about 1 mile west and uphill from the corner of Broadway and Baseline in Boulder. You can park in the lot if there is space, or along the left side of Baseline.
