This hike does not get a lot of sun so last weeks snow will probably still be in evidence over much of the distance. Be prepared for snow and ice on the trail. If you own some sort of traction device, I'd suggest throwing it into your pack just in case. I would discourage doing this in running shoes or something of that ilk unless you are very confident of yourself on icy trails. Read more
