Chestnut Hill Woods Walk

Event: Explore the woods on some beautiful trails in Newton’s Hammond Pond
Reservation http://www.mass.gov/d... . These woods
straddle Hammond Pond Parkway, Rte 9, Beacon St. and the Mall at Chestnut Hill. The Park is known for it’s wooded trails, sheer cliffs and a large, scenic body of water. You may want to bring a snack & water for a break out on the trails with the idea that some of us may be going out for a late lunch after the Hike.

Meet: 11:30am in the lower mall parking lot near Macy's in Chestnut Hill. There is a pond to the right of the lot. The parking lot is accessible to the public transportation. The
Station is Chestnut Hill on the D line. It is a short walk through the parking lot and pass the Macys store.
Cost: $5.00 non-members and the cost for lunch for anyone who comes along
