 l start with a hike on the Appalachian Trail to Mombasha High Point and con
 tinue to the top of the Allis Trail for our trail maintenance.   About 5 mi
 les in total.  Bring 2 quarts of water\, lunch\, daypack and hiking boots.

 h in the Berkshires:  Imagine a long weekend in the country at a very large
  private resort that you have reserved for just you and your friends. It ha
 s the requisite green mountains\, rolling lawns and a large beautiful lake.
   On a clear night there are many more stars visible than can ever be seen 
 from New York City. While many people are there with you\, it does not feel
  crowded given the the size of the place.  People find their own pace\, whe
 ther hanging around the beach\, reading and sunbathing\, playing softball\,
  hiking or participating in one of the many other activities. Friends - new
  and old - are relaxed\, enjoying each other's company. You feel like you a
 re on vacation with old friends whose company you enjoy. The only hint that
  you are on a singles weekend is the fact almost all of you are single.   Y
 ou never imagined a singles weekend could be like this!   Last year about 1

 s then blurred\, as our spectators experience the play as if it were happen
 ing at this very instant and all around them?.  No tickets or reservations 
 are necessary.  The performance starts promptly at 7:00pm at West 103rd Str
 eet and Central Park West.  Ansche Chesed will meet promptly at 6:45pm at t

  blade or ride your bike. Join in the fun! You might bump a volleyball as y
 ou march or carry a giant hiking boot in the air (it's just a picture\, it'

 earwater River Festival at Croton Point Park\, NY. There is just so much to
  do on this day. Five Stages featuring all styles of music including Pete S
 eeger. Numerous booths with local artists showing their crafts. And then th
 ere is the Food! Numerous booths featuring any kind of ethnic food you can 
 imagine. \n\nPlease purchase your ticket online at www.clearwater.org/reviv
 al/tickets. Its $35 plus a $3 processing fee before May 19th. Add $5 if you
  register before June 21. Add $10 if you pay at the festival. I am planning
  on arriving at Noon but you can get there at 10 am as this goes on until d
 usk.\n\nIn addition there are sailing trips at the Festival for the followi
 ng prices:\n\nSails on Tall Ships at the Festival \nCome aboard Sloop Clear
 water\, a replica of a 19th century river sloop\, or Schooner Mystic Whaler
 \, for a two hour sail on the Hudson River. Book passage now\, call 800-67S
 LOOP x107 \n$30 adults - $15 children 12 & under. No member discounts for t
 hese sails.\n\n\n\nThis is going to be a large event both from community an
