Like the outdoors and new challenges? Interested in impressing your friends and even strangers with some killer balance skills? In either case, Boston Slackliners is the group for you! If you don't know what slacklining is, you need to. Some may say it belongs in a circus, but its true home is strung between two trees in the great outdoors. It's kind of like tight-rope walking, but way cooler. If you're already an experienced slackliner, come share your skills with others. Even if you've never seen or tried it, you're all welcome! Every 1st Sunday of the month we'll be out along the Boston side of the Charles, in between the Hatch Shell and the Mass Ave Bridge, from 2 to 4 or maybe longer... Come check it out! Keep your eye out for random slacklining events as well!
a few days back i slacked the highest and longest line i've ever done. not as high or long as ted's a couple sunday's back--shoot and dang, boy!!
today, alex and i set uplines that crossed in the middle, yielding some interesting sitting, lying and stepping situations.
i'm not sure what we're going to try this sunday, but i know it's going to be AWESOME. Read more
