About York Outdoor Adventurers Meetup

Welcome to the York Outdoor Adventurers meetup!

We welcome all outdoor enthusiasts: young or old, new to PA or longtime resident, single or married, with or without children; you get the idea. We will try to find activities that meet your interests and needs or connect you with others with similar interests. Please take a moment to update your Outdoor Adventurers profile and let us know what your favorite outdoor activities are.

The message boards for this group allow you to post events you are interested in attending, even if they are not "official" events. There is also some information on equipment as well as other topics of interest to the group.

As your organizer, I will try to answer any communications sent to me quickly. Unless there are significant extenuating circumstances, the max time for a reply will be 72 hours. Once the group gets going, we can use the message boards to do some of our advance planning.

For most events, there will be a $1 fee per person to offset the cost of the website. Anything beyond that will be used for the group as the group decides. I believe in honesty and transparency, so all financials will be available upon request.

Now that those pesky housekeeping details are taken care of, let's get outside and have some fun!
