Want to attend?

Well, the Hoffs who started this group have fallen out of contact, but just looking at our three pages of members shows that we have enough interest to proceed without them. Maybe they will come back sometime.

In the meantime, let's meet and talk about values and possibilities, and perhaps even aim to develop a to do list as a group, so we can catalyze Alternative Energy invention and development here in Alaska. Read more

I think Alternative Energy is very important, necessary, and fascinating. I am interested to learn how it is being used in Alaska and what types work best.

Hi John - I haven't had experience with run-of-river. For the previous two years I issued water rights for the State, and inspected/adjudicated large and small-scale hydros, but they all had some form of impoundment and penstock, even the little pelton wheels. Valerie
