Introduction: I got into hiking as a scout but I only get out for a week or two per year these days. I'd like to do some weekend hiking in the area.
Can you suggest better questions?: No answer yet
How fit do you consider yourself?: Fit enough that I can survive a week on the trail, but out of shape enough that I'll do nothing but work and sleep for a week afterward.
What outdoor adventures have you participated in?: Several short stretches of the AT including the 100-mile wilderness. Acadia NP. One big trip out west: Grand Canyon north rim, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, Natural Bridges and Canyonlands.
