Ben More is on the right in the photo which was taken from the lower slopes of Ben Lawers.
Warning: This walk takes you over the 3000 foot mark 4 times and winter conditions may be seen here before the end of September and into mid May. Be prepared!
The approach from the North through the forest is currently blocked by forestry commission activity, so we will be going up from the South, with an extremely steep ascent onto Stob Invercarnaig but after that it is a an easy stroll across the 3 tops to Stob Binien our first Munro and then we drop down to Bealach Eadar Beine and back up to Ben More. (If anyone wishes a map cut file showing the route I can email that to you)
Distance: 10 Miles - ascent 5800ft
Start / Parking:Inverlochlarig Car Park
Time: 5 or 7.5 hours depending if we come back the linear route or include the Meall na Dige Loop
Folks, when you RSVP please indicate if you can either offer lifts, or require a lift, there is no guarantee of sufficient car spaces, (though we have always managed to accomodate all comers up to now) Feel free to contact drivers before the day to arrange to go with them, if you want to know you have transport sorted. (remember to bring £10 to £15 for the driver)
