Introduction: I'm new to Anchorage-originally from Cleveland OH, been working for NOAA in Washington DC since 1993- got an opportunity to come here on a 6-8 month detail and am loving it. I'm up for hiking, kayaking, backcountry skiing, and cycling and climbing.

Where are a few of your favorite outdoor places anywhere in the world? Anywhere in Alaska? Any where in the Anchorage area?: I'm a big fan of the Adirondacks, Rockies, Great Lakes, and Homer.
When are you most interested in Adventure activities: after work, Saturday's, Sunday's, weekends, mid-week, other times?: after work and weekends
Who is your favorite 'name' or person in the outdoor world?: No answer yet
If you had to choose just one outdoor activity to participate in what would it be?: backcountry skiing/telemarking
